Robert Latkany, MD, harbored fantasies of being a professional basketball player in his youth. He had the height, but couldn’t jump over a soda can, so he switched to golf, and played for Columbia University as an undergraduate. He attended Boston University School of Medicine, where he met his wife. His unsuspecting children have been on an Olympic training routine since before they could walk.
Dr. Latkany has a practice in Ophthalmology with a special focus in Corneal Surface disease and Dry Eyes. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed research papers, and has developed unique tests, techniques, formulas, and classification systems in his medical field. He has written the first book for the general public about a common eye problem, “The Dry Eye Remedy”.
He is a founding partner and CEO of MedPie.com
